Around the time I graduated from college in 2017, I started selling some of my short stories to a publishing company run by a friend of mine. Sic Semper Serpent was a small indie publishing house that specialized in pulp speculative fiction written by local, Minnesotan authors. My contribution was mostly fairy tale retellings.

SSS has since been liquidated, on account of the co-owners pursuing different careers (and one of them had a baby!) which means I get to share some of my favorite short stories I sold to them here, with my lovelies!
